Cybersecurity for Research Security
Trusted CI partners with institutions subject to NSPM-33 compliance to support cybersecurity for research security. Trusted CI’s activities in cybersecurity for research security include but are not limited to the following activities.
Partnerships
Trusted CI is partnered with numerous other organizations to provide cybersecurity implementation expertise for national research-security efforts. This includes the SECURE Center, EDUCAUSE, the Regulated Research Community of Practice (RRCoP), university consortia, and others.
Training
Trusted CI is developing a cybersecurity for research security training program that prepares institutions subject to NSPM-33 to meet research cybersecurity requirements while supporting, rather than slowing, the research mission.
Cohorts
Trusted CI is running cohorts to help research organizations implement the emerging cybersecurity requirements relating to research security. Trusted CI has adapted key elements from its established Framework Cohort model to develop an updated approach that addresses research security requirements and incorporates more higher ed institutions.
